Cooperation with scientific conferences

Principles of Cooperation between Conference Organisers and the Editorial Board of the Journal “Economics and Environment”

Contact with the Editorial Board :

The Conference Organising Committee shall correspond with the Editorial Board regarding matters related to the publication of articles exclusively via the following email address: czasopismo@fe.org.pl

Recommendation of Articles for Publication:

Articles proposed for publication in the journal Economics and Environment must fall within the thematic scope of the journal.

Upon completion of the review process and after the acceptance of conference presentations, the Organising Committee may invite the author to prepare an article based on their conference paper, provided it constitutes an extended version of the presented paper.

Submission of Materials to the Editorial Office:

The conference organiser shall provide the Editorial Board of Economics and Environment with a list of proposed articles and a list of at least two reviewers assigned to each article.

Article Submission by Authors:

Each author shall submit their article independently through the dedicated OJS submission system: Economics and Environment.

The content and format of the submission must comply with the editorial requirements available at Submissions | Economics and Environment, in the Template document, and the instructions provided within the OJS during the submission process.

Peer Review Process:

The reviewers are appointed by the Scientific Committee of the conference (name and surname, affiliation, email address, area of interest) and forwarded to the Editorial Board. The Editorial Board sends each reviewer an invitation to review the submitted article and the review form available in the OJS system.

A double-blind review system is applied - authors’ and reviewers’ identities remain confidential.

If the article receives negative reviews, it will not be published.

Publication Fees:

Authors are required to pay the publication fee applicable at the time their article is accepted for publication by the Editorial Board, following the receipt of two positive reviews.

Submission Deadline and Number of Articles:

The Editorial Office of Economics and Environment agrees to publish no more than ten articles from a given conference, across a maximum of three consecutive journal issues.

The submission deadline is 60 days from the conference end date.

Formal Verification of Articles:

If an article does not comply with the editorial requirements, fails the plagiarism or AI usage check, the Editorial Board will return the text to the author for correction.

File and Content Identification:

When submitting the article through the OJS system, authors must indicate in the “Comments to the Editor” field that the article is based on a conference paper and provide the full name of the conference.
