Abstract
This study presents a literature review on migration management and the economic resilience of regions. The analysis highlights the increasing attention of the scientific community to these interconnected topics, with Chinese researchers and institutions leading in publications, citations, and international collaborations. While these themes attract interest from diverse disciplines, they remain relatively underexplored within economic sciences. Bibliometric and text analysis of data from the WoS and Scopus databases reveal evolving research trends and emerging focus areas, such as urban and regional contexts, as key domains for studying resilience and migration dynamics. The review identifies gaps in existing scholarship, particularly concerning the economic aspects of migration and resilience, and emphasises opportunities for further exploration in this interdisciplinary field. Despite being limited to data from two databases, the study offers valuable insights into trends, contributors, and areas for future research. It provides a foundation for advancing academic inquiry and policymaking, underscoring the significance of migration management and economic resilience in shaping sustainable regional development.
