VALUE OF THE SEWAGE MANAGEMENT DEVICES IN RURAL AREAS IN THE OPINION OF LOCAL COMMUNITIES ON THE EXAMPLE OF THE WYSZKI COMMUNE

Abstract

The aim of the article is to present the public reception of the implementation of household-level sewage treatment plants in the Municipality of Wyszki. The CVM method of conditional valuation was used to learn the opinion of residents on the implementation of domestic sewage treatment plants, using the willingness test for payment (WTP). The method of conditional valuation was carried out based on a survey. The research trial was conducted using direct interviews among 100 inhabitants of the commune of Wyszki. The questionnaire contained, among other things, questions about the types of sewage collection and treatment system in the municipality.
