SUSTAINABLE TRANSPORT. AN ATTEMPT TO APPLY THE COPERT IV METHOD TO CALCULATE THE EMISSIONS FROM PASSENGER CARS IN POLAND

Abstract

The purpose of the article is to calculate emissions of selected pollutants connected with operation of road transport using COPERT IV method. The article presents assumptions, which allow transform available data to the form possible to use in this method. Assumptions and prepared data were used to calculate emissions. In the end the conclusions concerning the applicability of the method COPERT IV in the inventory of emissions from road transport in Poland were drawn.
